Miss World 2009 Kaiana Aldorino is welcomed like a hero

You probably have seen already the warm reception of the newly crowned Miss World 2009 Kaiana Aldorino when she went home to Gibraltar after winning the title. Oh, my God, the beauty queen was received like a hero. The people of Gibraltar welcomed her so warmly and they thronged the streets to get a glimpse of their beauty queen when she was paraded around the country. There was a rain shower of confetti. Flags of Gibraltar were waved in all corners. People were so happy. This is indeed one of the proud moments this tiny British territory has in the decade - thanks to Julia Morley of Miss World Organization for giving her the title.

I don't know if this is true but according to someone, the car used to parade Kaiana was the same car used by Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana during their honeymoon. Maybe someone out there can confirm this rumor.

SCANDAL???? Miss World 2009 Kaiane Aldorino Nude Photos?

Last Saturday, we witnessed the coronation of Kaiane Aldorino as the new winner of Miss World. The pageant was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Kaiana became the first woman from this British territory to win a grandslam pageant.

But I am not going to talk about the pageant in this post. I gonna show you some alleged nude pictures of Kaiana. The girl looks like Kaiana but it's up to you to judge. Here are the pictures. I write more about this later so come back and check.

Miss World Malta 2009

Thirty contestants will compete for the title of Miss World Malta which is due to be held on 4 July and will also represent different localities in Malta and Gozo.

Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja from Modelle International will be responsible for organising this prestigious event.

Auditions in the form of interviews started four months ago to choose the girls who were selected as finalists to take part in the final night. It was very important for the participants to have a good educational background and a pleasant personality.

Miss World Jersey Ltd organisers of the Miss World pageant are very careful to select a winner with good values and personality.

This year Modelle International will be also organising a charity event under the theme Beauty with a Purpose since Miss World is also well known for helping children’s charities and Variety Clubs International. This was created by Julia Morley Chairman of Miss World Jersey Ltd 25 years ago.

All monies raised from tickets sales or donations of the charity events are entirely donated to underprivileged and disabled children.

All this year’s participants will be involved in taking part in this event later on during the month of May.

Fotoclassic and stylist Marisa Grima prepared and photographed the finalists during a shoot at Excelsior Hotel for the programme D Search. The programme is presented by Claudia Calleja. Golden Rose make-up, which will also be launched during one of these events will be used by make-up artist Shasha and her team.

Luna by J. Piccinino Ltd will provide different styles of swimwear during the filming together with Nemo by Caprio of Mosta who will dress the contestants for the programme.

Avandgarde & Hairoscope will be the official hairstylist for D Search using the products Divines and Balmain hair extensions thanks to Beauty Imports.

During the final night another different group of hairdressers will be responsible for the hairstyles.

Sterling Jewellers who are the official sponsors for the Miss World Malta and the final night, will crown the winner with a prestige crown.

The winner will be also travelling to represent Malta in the final of Miss World to be held in Sun City South Africa to meet 110 other countries thanks to Lufthansa German Airlines.

D Search…..for Miss World Malta produced by Modelle International will be transmitted every Thursday at 9.00pm on Favourite Channel starting on 30 April.

Miss World for South Africa again

Miss Botswana assistant director says they are delighted that the world beauty pageant will be staged in Durban, South Africa this year.

Ms Neo Selwe says even though the exact date has not been announced, they intend to take advantage of the host country's proximity to gain experience directly from the organisers.

Ms Selwe said although the pageant was held in the same country last year, they did not gain experience as the venue was announced late as the organisers relocated from Russia at the 11th hour due to political instability in the region. The assistant director said due to the poor preparations, they reached the venue late giving them limited time to interact with the international organising body.

Ms Selwe said this year they intend to benchmark from the mother body to further enhance the organisation and image of the local pageant.

She said they were still lacking some information on the development of the queens and the choreography of the final event among other things. The assistant director said they hope that after gaining some experience from the world spectacle they will able to put up an event that would surpass anything that happened in the past.

Miss Botswana has been marred by controversy with the local girls complaining that they were neglected. Last year's participation was no exception in terms of negative publicity for the event. In 2008, a task force was appointed to identify the problems and come up with strategies to revive the pageant. The task force has not yet started its work due to shortage of funds. It expects to receive the funds this coming financial year after which it would tour the countryside to solicit the views on this thorny subject.

Their recommendations will determine whether the administration of the pageant should remain with the current license holders, or an independent body should run it.
