Jessica Simpson's music career may not be doing so well, but at least her fashion line is still hanging in there. Business mogul Donald Trump recently announced that Simpson's swimwear line will be worn by the Miss USA beauty pageant contestants on Sunday, April 19 as they vie for the crown.
The executives at Trump's Miss Universe Organization have teamed up with Simpson to bring her design to the stage. The contestants will strut their stuff in a white and gold string bikini that comes in at around $104. The beauties will also be seen in a bright green string bikini valued at around $88 for a pre-pageant photo shoot to be held in Las Vegas.
Simpson's swimwear line debuted on the market about two years ago. The company was asked why they chose Simpson as their swimwear designer and Trump's spokesperson responded, "Why not? They're fabulous swimsuits."
The Miss USA pageant will be held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Sunday, April 19th at 7 pm live on NBC.
