Miss France Chloe Mortaud Leaves Miss World 2009

After coming back from a long vacation, a friend has told me that Miss France World 2009 (also Miss France Universe 2009 and a finalist in Miss Universe 2009 in Bahamas), Chloe Mortaud had left Miss World 2009 pageant that is currently taking place in South Africa. That is barely one week before the finals on December 12th.

But don't panic, Chloe fans! She did not withdraw from the competition (Well, if you read my statement in that way.) but she only temporarily left the pageant last night to crown the winner of Miss France 2010 which was won by Malika Menard from the region of Normandy.

This decision from Miss World organization headed by Julia Morley has proven one thing, as noted by a friend, that pre-pageant activities are not important. Do you share the same view?

Well, Chloe is one of the favorites to win the title of Miss World 2009 because of her experience and placement at the 58th Miss Universe edition in Bahamas last August. But she is facing stiff competitions from Perla Beltran of Mexico and Jennifer Colon of Puerto Rico.

Who knows Chloe might be one of those beauties who snatched a crown from crossing over from Miss Universe to Miss World?

Misses Albania and Kosovo - Photoshopped Queens?

Fadil Berisha's - official photographer of Miss Universe 2009 pageant - girls, Misses Albania Hasna Xhukiçi and Kosovo Marigona Dragusha, were the second earliest to arrive in Bahamas after Miss France Chloe Mortaud for the Miss Universe 2009 pageant.

The three beauty queens got together immediately and with the latest pictures of them on their arrival, fans started to whine again about the beauty queens' real looks.

Prior to their arrival, beauty pageant lovers were pampered with stunning pictures of Hasna and Marigona all over the internet. Those pictures were highly doctored or "photoshopped" which set the expectations too high for both the ladies.

This is the reason why disappointed fans are more and more becoming vocal with their criticisms to the two of the most-hyped European delegates to the the Miss U pageant. Some fans are labeling them the Photoshopped Queens.

We hope to see the transformations of Hasna and Marigona in the following days. Hopefully, they can regained the admiration of those disappointed fans.

Miss France Chloe Mortaud Arrives First in Bahamas

The first delegate to arrive in Bahamas is Miss France Chloe Mortaud.

They say that "the earliest bird catches the worm first". Will this saying be vindicated once again with her winning the next Miss Universe crown?

Chloe arrived Thursday night at 10 pm in Bahamas. She was happily received by the host beauty queen, Kiara Sherman, and officials from the Ministry of Tourism, protocol officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a contingent of police officers.

She took the home number of Miss Bahamas who isn’t scheduled to check into the hotel until early next week. The first thing she said was how excited she is to be in the Bahamas because she always wanted to come here. Chloé was very impressed with the warm welcome she received, remarking that the people are so friendly. After a brief stay in the Lynden Pindling International Airport’s VIP lounge, she was whisked off to the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in a limousine, led by police outriders.

Two more contestants are scheduled to arrive today – Miss Albania and Miss Kosovo. They will be flying in this afternoon with Miss Universe fashion photographer Fadil Berisha who will spend about five days here taking the officials photos of the contestants for the Miss Universe website.

Fadil works with the Miss Albania and Miss Kosovo organizations. So, don't be surprised if Misses Albania and Kosovo gets better treatment as it happened in the past.

Chloe Mortaud Leaves France for the Miss U pageant

Miss France Universe 2009 Chloe Mortaud has been spotted in a French airport on her way to the islands of Bahamas for the 58th edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

From this site, Chloe is sporting a green dress with her sash. She is with her mother and Sylvie Tellier, Miss France 2002 and now the president of Miss France Society.

From her look on the pictures, Chloe seems like she's not excited but she is probably just tired.

Chloe is one of the contestants who we think can make a place at the Top 15.

 

  

  

  

  

 

Long Gown and National Costumes of Misses Thailand Chutima Durongdej and France Chloe Mortaud

The official long gown and national costume of Miss Thailand Chutima Durongdej to the Miss Universe 2009 in Bahamas were revealed in a Thai show the other day.

The Thai organizers made two gowns of the same design but in two different colours - red and blue. I prefer the red one. Chutima's traditional dress is also fantastic and it may win the Best in National Costume.
