Charl Van Den Berg of South Africa wins Worldwide Mr. Gay 2010

South Africa's 28-year old Charl Van Den Berg won the title of Worldwide Mr. Gay 2010 in Oslo, Norway. The pageant took place from February 10-14. Delegates from 32 countries competed for the title.

The winner who is managing a gay friendly restaurant in Sea Point Cape Town as his profession plans to finish his diploma in business management by this year. He wants to have his own business one day.

His dream date is Jonathan Rhys Meyer, an Irish actor and model.

First runner-up: Byron Adu of Australia

Second runner-up runner-up: Rick Dean Twombley of Hong Kong

Third runner-up: Xiadai Muyi of China

Fourth runner-up: Sergio Lara of Spain


The rest of the Top 10 include David Noel Bosley of the Philippines, Thiago Silvestrre of Brazil, Walter Heidkampf of Norway, Kamil Szmerdt of Poland and David Baramiya of Russia.

Walter of Norway is the oldest contestant at 50 while Tobias Dickenmann is the youngest at 20.
