Miss Russia Sophia Rudyeva's Nipple is visible in her National Costume
What is with Miss Russia Universe 2009 Sophia Rudyeva or the Miss Russia organization? Are they trying to stir controversies so that Sophia will be an instant hit once she step down in Bahamas for the Miss Universe pageant?
After Sophia became a favourite buzz in pageant-related discussions after nude pictures of her appeared in the internet, another "scandal" is labeled to her.
Her nipple is hanging out in her national costume!!! Look closely on that picture shown above but if you can't see that nipple, here's a larger photo for everyone.
Holy cow! Miss Universe Organization would definitely not allow this. If Sophia insists, she might be disqualified.
Why does Sophia trying to be so controversial? She's lovely and she doesn't need all these controversies. Don't you think so?

Russian beauty to take part in Miss Universe pageant despite porn scandal
At the Miss Universe 2009 beauty pageant Russia is going to be represented by 18-year-old Sophia Rudyeva, in spite of her involvement in a child porn scandal.
Rudyeva won the Miss Russia pageant in March. But soon after she was crowned Russia’s most beautiful woman, an old erotic photo session featuring her appeared on the Internet.
The situation was especially controversial as at the time of the photo shooting, made for an international adult magazine, Rudyeva was only 15 years old, although she already possessed an enviable figure.
Organizers of the beauty pageant questioned the appropriateness of Sophia’s participation in the world beauty contest, saying that millions of girls worldwide look up to beauty pageant winners, and you can’t expect a child porn star to set a positive example.
Rudyeva responded to the debates in the media in an open letter, in which she apologized to everyone she had upset. She blamed dishonest managers and photographers for tricking her into the illegal photo shooting, and vowed that if she wins the Miss Universe title she will use her influence to prevent young and silly girl models from repeating her mistakes.
Controversy notwithstanding, Komsomolskaya Pravda daily reported Thursday that Rudyeva is going to the Bahamas in August to represent Russia at the Miss Universe contest.
“I am now getting ready for the contest,” she told the newspaper.
“I’ve been taking part in charity activities, took yoga, fitness and singing classes. I became the face of three world-famous brands, such as Philip Plein. I am very confident of myself.”

Miss Russia pleads guilty in porn scandal
Miss Russia 2009, 18-year-old Sophia Rudyeva, recently accused of posing nude for adult magazines, has publicly responded to the accusations. In a statement she admitted participating in an erotic photo session at the age of 15, but said she had been too young to stand up to her unscrupulous manager.
In her lengthy statement published Friday by the popular Russian daily Moskovsky Komsomolets, Miss Russia said she wants people to know the whole truth about the pornographic photo session that appeared in the media soon after she was crowned Russia’s top beauty.
“This was my first ever photo session, I was 15. Like many other girls, I dreamed of becoming a model and when a modeling agency offered me a job posing for a lingerie advertisement, I agreed. When I saw what I had to put on for the session, I was horrified and wanted to cancel it,” the statement said.
Sophia went on to tell how the agency’s manager bullied her into the shooting by saying she would have to pay a fine if she refused.
“And then she said they were not going to let me out anyway. This is not porn, she said, you’ll forget about it tomorrow.”
Rudyeva said she doesn’t know how many more girls were deceived like her. She said her parents had known nothing about the session and warned parents of aspiring models to watch over their daughters.
“If I had had my nude pictures taken now, as an adult, the criticism that I’ve received would be justified. But for the silly teenager that I was, this photo shooting seemed like the great start of a great career. I was shown Pirelli calendars and told that all models posed naked, besides, I was given champagne. I hope my unfortunate case will be a good warning to all parents and they will look after their children better.”
In her statement, Sophia also apologized to everyone who was offended by her nude photos, and thanked everyone who supported her during the scandal, including the Miss Russia Contest organizers. She said she was determined to help young models avoid repeating her mistakes.
“I want to establish a foundation to support underage models. I know that many beautiful Russian girls face the same problems as I did, and I want to help them. Children should never suffer. You know, nobody could help me when all this happened.”
Finally, Miss Russia 2009 addressed all websites that posted her nude pictures, saying that they should be ashamed for showing erotic photos of a minor, and remove them.

Porn scandal may ban Miss Russia 2009 from Miss World contest - report
The scandal around Miss Russia 2009's recently discovered nude photographs may keep Sophia Rudyeva from taking part in the Miss World beauty contest. Still, her participation is not totally ruled out, since there is no explicit rule stating that contestants cannot take part in nude photo shootings.
Soon after Sophia, aged 18, was crowned Miss Russia, photographs showing her in the nude appeared all over the Internet. It turned out that a while ago, reportedly when the girl was only 15 years old, she posed for an adult magazine erotic photo session. This is shocking behavior for the girl that is to represent Russia at the international beauty contest, but so far she has not been officially banned from the pageant.
“It was always taken for granted that the contestants could never be part of anything of the sort,” former head of the Miss Russia research commission, Ilya Prokhortsev, who designed the contest's original rules, told Komsomolskaya Pravda daily Thursday.
“So we kind of never included this point into our written rules. This is a nonsensical situation.”
The problem seems to be that Sophia, who represented St. Petersburg at the Miss Russia contest, had not, like the rest of the contestants, taken part in the regional part of the pageant, but was taken in the last moment as a substitute for the original Miss St. Petersburg. By skipping the regional level of the contest, Sophia also skipped a good part of the background check.
“We usually check all the participants of the regional contest. We know all the local agencies with doubtful reputation, and we know where to look on the Internet. But at the all-Russia level it's impossible to track down every girl,” Prokhortsev explained.
Organizers of the beauty pageant have refused to comment on the porn scandal before speaking to Sophia, who is currently abroad doing a commercial photo shooting.
Prokhortsev said he did not believe Julia Morley, chief executive of Miss World pageant, could ever accept Sophia's participation in the contest after the scandal. At any rate, even if Sophia does not get banned, she is unlikely to receive any prizes.
“The girl's and the contest's prestige is going to be spoiled anyway,” he said. (mosnews.com)
