Korinna Koksis, considered by many the favorite to win the Miss Hungary 2013 title, finished in third place on the contest, but did not accept the crown and title of Miss Hungary Intercontinental 2013. It happened during the live telecast the national pageant held in Budapest. Minutes later, she published on her Facebook page that she did not accept the results because she already knew she would not be placed as one of the two winners (going to Miss World and Miss Universe).

A Former Miss Earth Candidate Refuses a Miss Intercontinental Crown in Miss Hungary 2013
