Who Performed Well at the Miss USA 2013 prelims?

Yes! Everyone is talking about the preliminary competition of Miss USA 2013 that just took place hours ago       at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. So, what's the big deal? Of course, this is one of the most prestigious national beauty pageants in the world alongside Miss Venezuela, Binibining Pilipinas, Miss France and Miss Mexico. Aside from that, this is the moment everyone was waiting for to see or judge which candidates live up to their expectations.



The 51 beauty queens representing the 50 states of the USA and the District of Columbia competed in swimsuits and long gowns. This determines the Top 15 who will compete for the finals on June 16, 2013. One winner of internet votes will be called as a semi-finalist too so there will be 16 ladies who will advance in the competition.

Now, who made the best impressions?

My friend wrote this in FB:

My faves in Evening Gown are: Alabama, Connecticut, Massachusetts (hair should've been in a bun!), Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina & Utah. 

My faves in Swimsuit are (lots of beautiful bodies): Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia (channeling Jennifer Hawkins with her horse gallop walk), Iowa, Louisiana (best catwalk), Maryland, Massachusetts (hate the pony tail!), Montana, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah & Virginia. 

My favorite gowns are those worn by Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina & Utah. 

So based on my choices, the most consistent contestants are Alabama, Connecticut, South Carolina & Utah (these 4 will make the Top 16 without doubt!). 

Of course, we don't know what happened during the closed door interviews with the judges, so anything can change and there could be lots of surprises!

I wasn't able to watch the show that's why I am using my friend's analysis if you may ask so. That's how sneaky I am. LOL

The winner will compete at Miss Universe 2013.
